Our QA department undertakes all- round testing work from raw materials, semi-finished to the finished products. The objective is to assess their structural integrity, performance capabilities, and safety under various conditions. By subjecting alloy wheels to these tests, we can identify any weaknesses, design flaws, or potential failure points, allowing us to refine our products before they reach the market.
(1). Raw Material Analysis Test – Inspect the composition of the aluminum alloy so as to ensure the proportion of all elements fall into the correct range.
(2). Dimensional Measurements: The dimensions of the wheel, including diameter, width, offset, and bolt hole patterns, are measured to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
(3).Roundness Test – Check the roundness of the wheel and ensure the wheel is perfectly rounded.
(4).Surface Inspection – A visual examination is performed to check for any surface defects such as scratches. And we have separate tests for painted surface, machined surface and chromed surface.
(5).X-Ray Test – Inspect the internal structure of the wheel and ensure there is no crack, bubble inside the wheel.
(6).Air-leak Test – Check if air is trapped inside the wheel’s structure. Most of factories do 100 % test for air leakage, but our factory do 200% test in order to double avoid air leakage due to workers’ wrong operation.
(1). Dynamic Balance Testing: a crucial aspect of alloy wheel testing that evaluates and corrects any imbalance in the wheel’s rotation, to ensure smooth and vibration-free performance of the wheel and the vehicle as a whole.
(2). Impact Testing : evaluates how alloy wheels withstand sudden impacts and shocks, such as hitting a pothole or a curb. This test measures the wheel’s resistance to deformation and cracking. A wheel is subjected to controlled impact forces, simulating real-world scenarios. The results help manufacturers determine the strength and impact resistance of their alloy wheels.
(3).Radial Fatigue Testing: is performed to determine the endurance limit of alloy wheels under cyclic loads. This test involves applying a controlled radial load on the wheel while it rotates. By subjecting the wheel to repeated loading cycles, manufacturers can assess its fatigue strength, identifying any potential cracks or failures that may occur over time.
(4).Cornering Fatigue Testing :The dynamic cornering fatigue test is intended to simulate the effect of cornering loads on the wheel disc by having a constant rotating bending moment to the wheel disc.
(5). Load Capacity Testing: Load capacity testing assesses the maximum load that the wheel can handle without failure. The wheel is subjected to static or dynamic loads to ensure it meets the required load ratings.

(1). Corrosion Resistance Testing:
Alloy wheels are exposed to various environmental conditions, including road salt, moisture, and chemicals. Corrosion resistance testing evaluates how well the wheels withstand these corrosive elements over time. This test involves subjecting the wheels to salt spray, humidity, and temperature variations to simulate harsh conditions. We can then assess the effectiveness of protective coatings or treatments in preventing corrosion.
(2). Saltwater Immersion Testing:
Saltwater immersion testing evaluates the performance of alloy wheels when exposed to corrosive saltwater environments. It assesses the wheel’s ability to resist corrosion, pitting, and degradation caused by prolonged contact with saltwater. This test is particularly important for wheels intended for use in coastal areas or for off-road vehicles.
